Od 3. do 17. lipnja 2026. godine Ana Barbarić i Ivana Hebrang Grgić boravile su u SAD-u u sklopu istraživanja za drugi projekt. Prilika je iskorištena i za promociju projekta Publikacije Hrvata u Čileu, a prikupljene su i vrijedne informacije koje će biti korisne za daljnja istraživanja. Istraživanja su provedena u New York Public Library, u Library of Congress u Washingtonu, te u zbirkama koje se čuvaju pri Hrvatskoj bratskoj zajednici u Pittsburghu i u Hrvatskom etničkom institutu Hrvatske franjevačke kustodije u Chicagu. Održani su sastanci s predstavnicima hrvatske zajednice, sastanci u u Veleposlanstvu RH u Washingtonu i u Generalnom konzulatu RH u New Yorku. Snimljen je intervju za portal Croatians online u kojem je promoviran projekt.
Research and meetings in the USA
From 3 to 17 June 2026, Ana Barbarić and Ivana Hebrang Grgić stayed in the USA as part of research for another project. The opportunity was used to promote the project Publications of Croats in Chile, and valuable information was collected that will be useful for further research. Research was conducted at the New York Public Library, the Library of Congress in Washington, and in collections held by the Croatian Fraternal Union in Pittsburgh and the Croatian Ethnic Institute of the Croatian Franciscan Custody in Chicago. Meetings were held with representatives of the Croatian community, as well as at the Croatian Embassy in Washington and the Consulate General of the Republic of Croatia in New York. An interview was recorded for the Croatians online portal, in which the project was promoted.
